MIHS Cheerleaders Hosting Little Cheer Clinic For Preschoolers & Elementary Students

Mercer Island, WA, August 19, 2025 - The MIHS Cheer Team is calling all future cheerleaders in preschool and elementary school!
They will be hosting their annual Fall Little Cheer Clinic with a performance at the MIHS Varsity football game on September 19. Participants will also receive a t-shirt and pom poms.

Mercer Island School District Superintendent Dr. Fred Rundle recognized the District’s Employees of the Year, Retiring Staff, teachers earning National Board certification, and MISD staff with a years of service milestone in a ceremony Wednesday at Northwood Elementary.

Our Business and Finance staff and Washington State Auditors staff were all once middle school math students, simplifying and creating equivalent algebraic expressions to expand their knowledge of math.
