Mercer Island, WA, October 2, 2025 - After having a failed romance in middle school, Callan has sworn off romance until Cupid (who now wields a knife) suddenly stabs him and makes him fall in love with his classmate Aurelia. With this new wound in his heart, Callan with Cupid by his side, goes on a desperate pursuit where some past romantic traumas get unearthed.

A journey through the mental gymnastics of a teenager attempting to communicate while grappling with the little voices in their head. They’re trying to be a good person - they promise.

Two sisters journey back to childhood through their father’s memory. 

3 Big Bad Wolves. 2 Hot dogs. 1 Support Group. 

The students of MIHS Drama 2, in collaboration with Youth Theatre Northwest, present the Drama department’s 12th annual Playwriting Project.

Four selected students have crafted, revised, and written their own 10-minute play to be performed by their classmates and directed by guest artists from Youth Theatre Northwest.

Please join us in the MIHS Performing Arts Center on Tuesday, October 14 at 7pm for the world premiere of these original plays, Stabbed Through the Heart by Tiger Yang, Send by Wilder Giannini-Upton, Tea Party by Joy Rurangwa, and (B)ig (B)ad (W)olves by Pilar Buosono.
