MIHS Journalism and Yearbook Students Receive Awards

Mercer Island, WA, March 27, 2023 - On Saturday, March 4, Mercer Island High School Islander and Isla staff members attended the Washington Journalism Education Association (WJEA) State Conference at Mountlake Terrace High School.
Several students received awards in the write-off and judging competitions:

The Mercer Island High School Marching Band will be featured on the debut of the FOX LOCAL Halftime Show on FOX 13 Seattle on Sunday, September 8 during the NFL on FOX broadcast of the Dallas Cowboys at the Cleveland Browns game. The Cowboys at Browns game starts at 1:25pm.
