Mercer Island, WA, February 6, 2024 - Mercer Island High School's Student Senate and the American Red Cross are hosting a Blood Drive at MIHS on Monday, February 26 from 8am-1:30pm.
Please join our lifesaving mission and schedule an appointment today!
There is a constant need for blood in our community, and only volunteers can fill that need. There is a need for blood every 2 to 3 seconds across the country, and most of us will need blood during our lifetimes.

The Mercer Island High School Marching Band will be featured on the debut of the FOX LOCAL Halftime Show on FOX 13 Seattle on Sunday, September 8 during the NFL on FOX broadcast of the Dallas Cowboys at the Cleveland Browns game. The Cowboys at Browns game starts at 1:25pm.

Mercer Island High School is proud to announce that Jack Isaacs, a senior, in June emerged as the winner of the prestigious Stock Market Game yearlong competition in Washington State. Competing against 400 teams from 18 schools across the state, Jack's outstanding performance is a testament to his dedication, financial wisdom, and strategic investing skills.

Mercer Island High School boys basketball coach Gavin Cree was selected as the Washington State John Wooden Award winner by the Washington Interscholastic Basketball Coaches Association (WIBCA) at their Hall of Fame Banquet on Wednesday, July 17 at the Cowlitz County Event Center in Longview.
