MIHS Drill Team Sweeps State Championships Winning All Three Categories
Mercer Island, WA, March 30, 2025 – The Mercer Island High School Drill Team made program history on Friday, March 28 at the State Championships at the Sun Dome in Yakima sweeping all three categories, Military, Kick, and Pom, to win three State Championships.
“This is very rare and to go from having never taken first place to taking first in all three categories is a huge accomplishment,” said Drill Team head coach Kyle Mosler. “We’re over the moon.”
This is the first time the Drill Team has won a State Championship.
