Mercer Island, WA, November 25, 2026 – MIHS sophomore Max Pelter and MIHS broadcast media teacher Natalie Woods were interviewed by Brianna Vasquez from KING 5 for a segment on Kraken Home Ice that aired locally on Saturday, November 22.

Max has a weekly podcast and segment on KMIH 88.9 The Bridge called “Kraken Max” where he talks about the latest news and game results from the Seattle Kraken.

Brianna spoke to Max about how he started his podcast in seventh grade and what his goals are for it. She spoke with Natalie about how MIHS broadcast media teachers supported Max when he reached out to them while in seventh grade and about the opportunities KMIH offers students.

Max was interviewed by Geoff Baker from the Seattle Kraken about his podcast for story that was published on the Kraken website on November 6.
