City of Mercer Island Conducting Emergency Drills at MIHS on Tuesday and Wednesday
Mercer Island, WA, July 10, 2023 – The City of Mercer Island Emergency Management Department and Police Department will be conducting active shooter training and emergency drills at Mercer Island High School on Tuesday, July 11 and Wednesday, July 12.
There will be numerous police and emergency personnel and vehicles on the MIHS campus all day on both Tuesday and Wednesday.
These drills are part of our continuing partnership with the City and Police Department on programs and initiatives involving the safety and security of our students, staff, and buildings.
Community members are asked to please not enter the MIHS campus while drills are being conducted.
