Ariel Sciammas Named New Girls Basketball Head Coach
Mercer Island, WA, June 18, 2024 – Mercer Island High School athletic director Lindsey Blaine announced today Ariel Sciammas has been named the new head coach of the girls basketball team.
“I am excited to join the Mercer Island Community,” said Sciammas. “I have been working on my coaching craft to find the right opportunity and I know this is the right fit.”
“I have been coaching U17 AAU for Team Lavine and Tree of Hope for the last 5 years. I count it a blessing to have worked with many college basketball players and great coaches during that time. I am excited to bring that experience to MIHS and get to work,” continued Sciammas.
