Alumni from Class of 1968 Tour MIHS
Mercer Island, WA, September 8, 2023 - Mercer Island High School Administrative Assistant Kristin Brintnall led a tour of the high school on Thursday, September 7, for graduates from the class of 1968.
The tour was an hour and forty minutes and Kristin talked to them about how things have changed at MIHS, what classes are now offered as well as school clubs and the school’s approach to inclusivity and belonging.
As part of the tour the alumni stopped by KMIH 88.9 The Bridge and recorded station identification announcements, including one by Bill Norton, who originated the high school radio station.

Kristin said the class of 1968 were a great group and were very appreciative of the time spent at their alma mater.
Kristin and MISD Communications and Alumni Coordinator Ian Henry are going to investigate the possibility of developing an annual Alumni Day where tours of the high school are provided.
