24 MIHS Students Compete at HOSA State Leadership Conference
Mercer Island, WA , March 19, 2024 – Mercer Island High School had 24 students compete at the HOSA State Leadership Conference in Spokane this past weekend.
This is the largest number of students that have competed from MIHS, with many competing for the first time. It was also Washington’s largest HOSA conference with over 2,200 students attending.
MIHS had three students place in the top 10:
6th place in Job Seeking Skills: Nandini Mishra
8th place in Medical Math: Rilke Dalton
9th place in Behavioral Health Science: Isabella Sullivan
HOSA stands for Health Occupations Students of America and is now known as the Future Health Professionals. It is an international career and technical student organization endorsed by the U.S. Dept. of Education. Any student is welcome to join MIHS HOSA.
