Course Description: The English course explores key works from major historical and literary movements. Human civilization is studied through identification, analysis, and questioning. Over two classes, this course integrates World Studies and Modern World History and examines larger questions from both literary and historical perspectives. Work on improving writing process, strengthening literary devices understanding, developing critical thinking skills, and developing synthesis and reading skills throughout this year-long course. Work Type: Individual and Group work; Projects, Presentations, Essays; Formative and Summative assignment; Integrated Lessons, assignments, and assessments.
Work Load: 20-40 minutes a night, on average.
