Title:   KPE335--WALK FOR FITNESS

Pre-Requisite:  None

Course Description: In this course, students will experience a wide range of walking activities, such as neighborhood walks, power walking, hiking, orienteering, geocaching, capture-the-flag, disc golf, lawn bowling, and bocce ball. Throughout the semester, walking distance, pace, heart rate, and other metrics will be tracked and growth measured.

Work Load:   All work is done during class time. The majority of the class is based on participation in workouts with a few learning tasks throughout the semester.

Why would you be interested in the Class:   This class is great physical and mental break from the school day. Students get to go outside and walk!
