Title: CMA435&CMA436--PRECALCULUS H
Pre-Requisite: Honors Algebra 2 CMA 351 & CMA 352
Course Description: In addition to meeting the regular Precalculus expectations, students will apply their understanding to unfamiliar situations. Additional topics may include parametric, polar, matrices, and conics. The depth, scope, and pace of this course far exceed that of the regular Precalculus course. Students will experience more rigor and challenge which will prepare them to continue their mathematical study. A student who has an interest in STEM, a passion for math, or plans to take AP Calculus in high school, this course is recommended preparation. Daily homework will be assigned.
Work Load: Formative/Summative; approximately 4 hrs. weekly
