Title: LND111&LND112--DIRECTED STUDY
Pre-Requisite: None
Course Description: The purpose of this class is to help students become more academically successful by providing a structured environment and lessons on topics such as time management, goal setting, communication, and self-advocacy. Students will have time to complete schoolwork as well as apply the study and organizational skills they learn in the class to their courses and assignments. Weekly Qmlativ and Schoology check-ins with the Directed Studies teacher are mandatory, and students may also practice self-advocacy skills by writing weekly emails to their teachers, counselors, and parents.
Work Load: There is no work outside of class time. Students complete check-ins with teacher and do a executive functioning activities during class.
