Title: LND200&LND230--LEADERSHIP
Pre-Requisite: Students are either elected or appointed into the class. Those that are interested are encouraged to run in elections or sign up for the appointed process.
Course Description: During this class, students identify and develop their leadership and communication strengths, styles, and values. Furthermore, they will benefit from the course's emphasis on teamwork. Various ASB activities and events will be prepared and implemented by students, including assemblies, partner projects, and inter-high conferences. Class projects and attendance will be assessed as well as participation in classroom activities. As part of their ASB and class duties, students are required to take Leadership all year long. Leadership can be taken by students who are not elected ASB officers, but must receive approval from the instructor.
Work Load: This class has numerous large and small projects and requires commitment outside of class time to plan, prepare, and execute events.
Why would you be interested in the Class: Everyone should be interested. The class is really fun, student-driven and looks great on a resume.
