Title:  GME532&GME533--JOURNALISM 2

Pre-Requisite:  Beginning Journalism

Course Description:  This course continues the study of journalism and improves journalistic skills. For advanced writers and photographers, second-year page editors, senior page editors, and editor(s)-in-chief. Students will manage and lead the publishing of The Islander, the school newspaper. Students will secure advertising from local businesses, collaborate with area media outlets, manage the publication process, and mentor Beginning Journalism students. Assigned work requires additional time outside of class.

Work Load:  Group/Individual; articles; photography: design; Adobe Suite
