Course Description: The course is designed for students who are interested in business, marketing, economics, financial markets, buying and merchandising, advertising, and public relations. Hospitality, travel, and tourism, as well as sports and entertainment marketing are studied. In this course, students will be taught how to create a visual image that is impactful, how to use multimedia for promotional and advertising purposes, how to develop a marketing plan, and how to invest in the stock market. Students will also learn basic economic principles, participate in DECA competitions, and explore career options.
