Course Description:  Fundamental accounting principles are covered in this course, including balance sheet creation, income statement creation, and the accounting cycle. The course also discusses basic investing and financial analysis, emphasizing the use of accounting information for business and investment decisions. In addition, it includes skills such as Excel spreadsheet creation, financial statement interpretation, and personal finance practices such as investing and account balancing. Students are exposed to diverse accounting career opportunities through simulations, guest speakers, and field trips.
