Title:  FAV667--ADV DIGITAL PHOTO

Pre-Requisite:  FAV665 - Digital Photo

Course Description:  No camera required! Students develop their artistic stamp as they create compelling images using artful composition and learn advanced Adobe Photoshop® techniques. Every project integrates 21st century skills that prepare students for life after high school. Additionally, students will create a portfolio of personal work, take part in class critiques, display their work at Showcase, and participate in the Washington State High School Photography Competition. A continuation of Digital Photography, students will explore different styles of photography to hone their skills. Projects include Portraiture, Animals, Architecture, People, Abstract, Manipulated, & Documentary.

Work Load:  The class is all project based. Students should be able to manage having an outside/inside of class photo project as well as a photoshop project at the same time. There will be ample time provided and can be adjusted through consult.

Why would you be interested in the Class:  In this class, students will learn how to express what they see and how they see the world through a lens rather than through their hands in an art class. Students who are interested in learning design and photography basics along with a little Photoshop should take this course.
