Title:  FAP651&FAP652--SYMPHONIC ORCH

Pre-Requisite:  Philharmonic Orchestra or Instructor Approval

Course Description:    The MIHS Orchestra classes study string and symphonic orchestra literature. Age- appropriate technical development is emphasized. All 9th Grade orchestra students are enrolled in Philharmonic Orchestra; thereafter, students proceed to Symphonic Orchestra or audition into Chamber Orchestra. Orchestras perform several concerts per year and travel to perform at festivals across the state and country. Assessment includes participation, concerts, and tests.
