Title: CMA271&CMA272--GEOMETRY
Pre-Requisite: Algebra 1 CMA 161 & CMA 162
Course Description: This course develops students' understanding of transformation, congruence, and similarity. Students are expected to master geometry through algebraic, graphical, verbal, and numerical methods. For example, algebra is used for finding area, volume, length, angle measure, graphing, and within proofs. Through proofs and algebraic applications, students integrate space and coordinate geometry. Students also learn right triangle trigonometry and conditional probability. Homework is assigned on a daily basis.
Work Load: Formative/Summative; approximately 0-30 min. daily/ 1.5 hrs. weekly
