Course Description: International Studies examines contemporary global issues and problems. Its goal is to help students better understand the challenges and opportunities that impact our world today and will affect it soon. The course uses current case studies to encourage students to form opinions on relevant topics. Recent examples include the rise of Modern China, Climate Change and Climate Justice, and the war between Russia and Ukraine.
Work Load: A significant focus on group work. Assessments will include papers, projects, discussions, short-videos, podcasts etc.
