Title: CMA532&CMA533--AP CALCULUS BC
Pre-Requisite: AP Calculus AB CMA 541 & CMA 542
Course Description: In addition to the College Board curriculum for AP Calculus BC, this course may also cover topics such as work, center of mass, integration techniques, probability density functions, and more. Students will review AP Calculus AB topics before moving on to new content. Knowledge will be applied in unfamiliar situations. Concepts must be deeply understood. All concepts will be tested using algebraic, graphical, verbal, and numerical methods. College credit may be awarded for qualifying scores on the AP Calculus BC exam. Students who take an AP course are encouraged to take the AP exam. Daily homework will be assigned.
Work Load: Formative/Summative; approximately 4 hrs. weekly
