Course Description: Yoga integrates the mind and body to promote health. Students will develop strength, flexibility, stamina, focus, and balance through a combination of breathing techniques, postures, and movement. The benefits of consistent yoga practice include improved circulation, increased vitality, and stress management.
Work Load: All course work is done during class time. The majority of the work is daily participation in yoga with a handful of academic lessons, weekly self-assessments and two projects throughout the semester.
