Pre-Requisite: HFL450--CULINARY ARTS

Course Description: In this course, students will learn advanced skills related to food preparation, presentation, baking and various cooking methods, including safety, sanitation, equipment, knife skills, and sanitation. Course topics include the preparation and service of breakfast, lunch, dinner, and desserts. The students will also participate in a professional culinary field trip and a food truck final. To ensure safety and sanitation, a Food Handler's card will be required. Guests from the industry will also speak to students.
