Pre-Requisite: A full year of any FAV course offering (except glass) with a 3D focus
Course Description: As part of this course, students will prepare the portfolio for 3D Studio, as specified by the College Board for assessment through the AP Program. The portfolio requires students to demonstrate a fundamental understanding of visual concerns and methods. This course develops students' ability to demonstrate depth of inquiry, serious grounding in visual principles and materials, and creative synthesis of form, technique, and content. Approximately 6-10 pieces reflecting the investigation of their inquiry question will make up their portfolio. Portfolio submissions are expected. Fees: $35 materials fee
Work Load: Class critique and discussion; 3-5 hours outside of class a week minimum
