Projects can include but are not limited to, tea bowls, animal lamps, functional and decorative plates, teapots, heritage masks, lidded boxes, and wall hangings. Students are required to plan, draw, and design each project before executing it. Students maintain a professional blog where all of their work and creative process will be documented. This course supports AP Studio 3D. Fees: $35 materials fee

Work Load: Our Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) is Art Club. A Standards Based Grading system that incorporates Formative Assessments for skill development and Summative Assessments based on projects. Students who use class time wisely will have little to no homework.

Why You Might Be Interested In The Class: Every skill level is welcome! In this class, you'll learn the same techniques and skills used in real-life industries. This course will teach students how to run a studio safely, as well as how to create and finish pieces that can be sold.
