Pre-Requisite: A in French 3 or a B in French 4 is recommended to be successful in AP French Language. If you are newly enrolled to the district or hoping to enter a level of language out of sequence, your ability to register for the course is contigent on a one hour placement test with a language teacher. Course Description: This course is intended for students who have completed four or five years of French coursework. Students are encouraged to participate actively in class conversations in French as part of a College Board-guided curriculum. Additionally, students will study contemporary culture in Francophone countries through authentic materials. College credit may be awarded for qualifying scores on the AP French exam. Students who take an AP course are encouraged to take the AP exam.
Work Load: 3 to 4 hours of homework per week.
